A message on behalf of the ESA Presidents:
Due to the ever-evolving and challenging situation we are all currently facing because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the ESA is officially postponing Euroanaesthesia 2020 Barcelona, to 28-30 November 2020.
Our community of anaesthesiologists and intensivists are still highly impacted by the virus and we realise how vital they are during this time. Being present in their hospitals far outweigh any other normal activities. Our members and community are crucial in containing this pandemic and saving countless lives.
For those who have already registered for Euroanaesthesia, please know that we are making every available effort to address your questions and concerns. You can get answers, find next steps and view more on our postponement policy on our Euroanaesthesia or ESA websites.
We apologise for any issues this may pose and hope that we can count on your commitment and flexibility during this challenging time. We encourage you to check our website regularly for our most recent updates on COVID-19 and ESA activities.
Together we stand in solidarity with the people involved and send our deepest sympathies to the families of those who have suffered the greatest during this pandemic.
